Northern Tanzania
In the bush with the Datooga
The Datooga tribe is one of the diverse tribes living in Northern Tanzania. Their origins would come from another East African region in the Nile Valley close to Ethiopia. The Datooga people speak a beautiful soft language which is one of the Nilotic languages, called "Kidatooga" (meaning the Datooga language).
They live in the bush in mud houses that women build with her own hands.
Dare to live without electricity, running water or toilets but you'll learn so much and experience pure joy!
